      People with a bizarre condition called synesthesia see sound, smell colors, and taste shapes Neuroscientists think they might open a window into the ultimate mystery of human consciousness,   (Brad Lemley). The logic is excellent, but
      Synesthesia is surely a problem of linking, but pure autism is probably such a problem, (and my 'attempt' to cure myself,  proving the possibility of active linking in the old age...)
     Therefore, copying Branly's glow, (that lead us to Internet) and Fleming's dust creating a new medecine), I choose the strange kind of children, very late in speaking, like Einstein, or Guinness deserving Selin Birger...

____I thought to dedicate this text to the parents of autists who refused imbecility for their children and guilt 
_for  themselves. Unfortunately, Vinci sees in their desperate fight a sad "analogy", with the remarkable brains, _(Celsus to Voltaire, Diderot to Loisy, Combes, Couchoud...), that opposed to the rise 
_of satammism of all kind. As they didn't propose a replacement solution, they  just  obliged the auto-divinised  _rats to put on 'civilised face'. 
 ___I therefore dedicate this page to the "psy-to-come", who will comply Renan's "If only one sector of the _neuroscience escapes to the neuroscience, there can't be a neuroscience". Then appointment with 
_this genius that will include the top-autism of Einstein and WittgEinstein, to Darwin's prosopamnesia, to the _prosopautism of Newton and Vinci... "

0. Introduction: "Autism does not exist!"
    Many autisms? as many autists!  Autism is the result of the serpentine paradox of James:
"the abnormal  helps to know the normal",
    then this "normal" is used to define the "abnormal").
    A progress appeared in  AUTISM99, (London), recognizing three groups:
____ Kannerians, " Sint ut sunt..., "children that neither die nor  cure"; certainly the best known, and almost only studied species...
____ Aspergers, species known when protected under a university umbrella,
____ "Cavendishers", name waiting for confirmation.
    Who indicates the group to be studied preferably? that could hold the key?
    AUTISM99 also shows three groups of observers, quite different:
_________ "problem-outside",
_________ "problem-inside home",
_________ "problem-inside"
   Which is best prepared  to tackle the problem?
    Only common point to all definitions: "phenomenon exclusively human" , (since the animals are not "conscious", a nice error  leading straight to a "cul-de-sac"!)
     "Top-Autism " is, in my opinion, just an efficient use of an excess of anxiety. Today some "specialists" admit it could be general, (idem for "prosopamnesia"), being the result of a natural evolution, ending in an "premature animal suited for nothing ", but a champ of "problem-solving".
    Autisms are consequence of our march towards  conscience:  human  mind was imagined to adapt man to all environments and even to change them, but  brain is in great danger during its formation or  its wiring,  from any "Disturbance Not Specified",  any accident, (by  physical or chemical causes, fume, drugs...), or the majority of the diseases.
    Which explains my document  N°2:
A "Theory of Mind" is inevitably a "Theory of Conscience",
prepared by a synthesis in N°1:
A "top-autist philosophy" nests inside  "Popper's World-Two" .
based on the rule, (push to the extreme, over 5000 years):
"the quality of a definition depends of the
quality of the definition of its environment... "
Labelled "asperger for my sense of details", I insist on  my ease in synthesis. So? let's sweep in space and time:
0.1 A million years ago, already!
    Did autism exist in the Grotto of Cros-Magnon?
    Probably! Some "retarded kids" were saved by Mothers Courage, (which could explain the higher percentage of  autists among boys). Their legendary girlish face made it easy to hide them among the girls but I imagine the storm under their skulls: jealousy towards the brothers, (that the father took along to hunting), already suffering from the complex of Benjamin, from the contempt of the females, feeling abandoned, desiring, willing, needing to draw the attention of the father... these criteria are regularly seen in  our "creative", Ingres, Rimbaud, Mozart, Hugo, Manet, Wordsworth-in-Xanadu, (artists, really creative but  not "geniuses").
    In that time, the "abnormal"  had no chances to survive,  less to reproduce. But the Darwinian selection  gave them a chance,  to use their  intelligence. And the abnormal, (inventing the bow and the fire, taming the dog and the sheep, and cultivating their garden), transformed into abnormal those that called  them abnormal. And Bardot enjoyed the company of our cave-artist,  clever at hunting and fishing, storyteller, great beef-roaster; and they had many children.
    Koestler could  teach that we all are "abnormal", descendant from these abnormal; therefore all "normal". All the men, (even at best "socially-educated", the most respectful of the "social-rules"), have a "grain of madness",  well hidden and ready to reappear.
0.2 Today, autism is in strong progress,
urbi and orbi, either "hard" or "soft" kinds, by increase of their respective causes. Since the appearance of Mukho, and his brothers of Marseilles, we know that  young  "Kannerians " can move to  "Aspergers". How to generalize this migration? then to generalize on the top-level, the last jump from  "Asperger" to "Cavendisher" and to  the scientific geniuses? (avoiding the stop at halfway under a university umbrella).
    Here is the great phenomenon few specialists are interested in; and  less can guide it. Maybe, I have an idea, for  the first and second jumps; but I certify that  brutal kicking is not good after the age of ten years. One will understand why I systematically search the "locomotives", (sometimes difficult to find, case of Newton). My " engines " impressed me to the point of calming my "tantra".
    Thus offer a  seat to the "problem-inside top-autist" which shows that
"Autism is perhaps the source of all knowledge",
because he goes right to the comprehension of the structures of thought.
And once again, I quote professors Cambier and Verstichel, (of  Mondor Hospital):
"...progress is often the work of geniuses that... gave free course to THE REVEALING INTUITION  of A THOUGHT WITHOUT LANGUAGE. De Zénon with Einstein, lots of examples... " ("The Reconciled Brain ", Masson 1998).
We are "refuzniks",   escaping the "social training",  "social rules", "syllogisms", all rails impeding  a "thought without a language",  blocking real thinking, (already explained, one century ago, by Saussure and Wittgenstein). Thank you,  Ludwig, for the transition.
0.3 " Making a rule ",
strange title for a book without much interest on the thought of Wittgenstein.
    Ludwig, who suffered from an excess of father , ( while mine was non-existent), shows a strong probability of autism, (according to my personal criteria tackling autisms by the top); surely the aristocrat among autists, since he could hide his "tantra", "colères froides", "rabietas"! Noblesse oblige?
    In 1911, while a future marshal saw  aircraft as a "toy", our Babbage of aviation had invented a propeller and was tinkering a jet-engine. Nice opportunity for an aparte, to show that the philosophical spirit contains  creativity.
    How does Ludwig reason? he created a propeller which "screwed itself in the air", or better which sends backwards the air found in front, around the tube. Not very effective and this type of planes  will quickly be limited in speed. Try sending  the air  inside a tube, with not a  breath lost? And, Ludwig's  plane  overpasses Mach One!
    Then,  one half-century in advance, equalling  Arthur, he produced by pure intellectual intuition-deduction the "Tables of Decision", so useful for  data processing specialists, (people ignoring the author).  Surely the  philosopher easiest  to sell in enterprises!
    Wittgenstein has other top-autistic features: a mixture of "deficits", (especially of social type),  and "gifts", as the capacity to analysis problems, perfectionism of course, and  manual skills: I put Wittgenstein among the philosophers able to build a factory in Africa, alone, (Popper, Locke, Comte... and of course Newton and Vinci); and among the brains that penetrated   World-Two, (like Peirce, or Schopenhauer, or Saussure...), but then  by translating their vision in  World-Three wasted, distorted this vision.
     Doctor Temple proclaims Ludwig an "autist"? I propose an exchange of documentations on  the most difficult thought  to understand, transmitted by his rare students, (case also of Saussure, who destroyed his texts). What can do a pupil when the professor changes his ideas and  contradicts himself? He stops noting.  Wittgenstein, for this reason,  is  a criterion for   "philosophers", obliged to speak about him, without any possibility to penetrate World-Two...
" According to Kurzweiller, (philosopher), (1) "Wittgenstein, is arguably the most significant Western philosopher of the 20th Century... " (2) " Actually the Tractatus says nothing about mind... Computer will go to church for meditation and prayer... " (3) "Many of the leading artists are machines by 2029...", (reported by other philosopher).


1. Why this obsession for  " rules "?
    Is it a warning against a real danger? a reflexion on the need to select the rules that we  introduce into our brain?  in philosophy of  language, he remains  "l'enfant  terrible". I imagine him explaining that "math is tautology" to Lord Russel, (the equal  of Poincaré). Why the subtility of analysis found in the "Tables of  Decision ", (similar to my recipe for "M.I.S."), does not end into a great synthesis? Turing should have met   Ludwig  to speak data-processing; rather than  von Neumann. More minutes of silence for lost opportunity...
    More than 35 years, after reducing all documents to one unique record in the computer, waiting for  a copyright, I "chained" immediately on a new search, apparently inaccessible:  finding a common structure  for  every "thought", (not that of Newton or Schoppy, impossible!). Examples in "Theory of  Conscience".
    The computer "will think as those brains that do not think", correcting errors and lies; id est, will oblige us to think correctly. Just describing how our brain functions. That of a top-autist preferably.
    I therefore ask all "autists", (instead of claiming Newton, Vinci...), to understand why they are not  Isaacs or Léonards, Arthurs or Zénons... All  top-models  for the following generations in lack of leaders.
1.1 "Making a rule " by a little mason:
    "Making a rule" becomes clear, if we stick to the best definition of the young autist,
"a mason who decides to build his house without experience nor means..."
Dr. Milcent, ("problem-inside home), does not distinguish the causes: "hard" or "soft").
    A suggestion for a revolution in the education of all the children:  to provide tools and safety belts without imposing the plan of the house? "The little masons do not silence what  they learned";  their right lobe refuses the formation-training which would make them "normal"? But this right lobe must be programmed as much as the left! to receive social rules! If not, you prepare a "explosion of small gangsters". Today, the "psys"  announce it but it was foreseeable since a long time:
Cassez les niches, on vous cassera les miches...
Break the nests, they will break your chests...
Romper nidos, romper huevos!
    The majority of the men accept the rules of their group, ready-chewed. While reading the "Autobiographies of Autists", (Donna...), please note that some of us manufacture personal "rules" for themselves. We seek to tranquillize us by putting order everywhere, even in our moral world. Changing from surprising efforts to unproductive discouragements, we impose rules to ourselves, then to others,  and obtain a label: "maniatico-depressive", "cyclothymic",  (but it's  "outside-views").
2. Table of different evolution
    The kannerian listing of criteria, hyper-described, is  perfect to start.
 I bring the other extreme. Awaken by a "Man who mistook his Wife for a Hat", but convinced I would never met a single "face-forgetter", I plunged into  History and established my "criteria of  top-autism".
    Between these two lists, the "criteria for aspergers" of Martijns will fit very correctly. Since "Problem-Outside People" are rather interested  in the first category, we can confiscate the two others, and reconcile all  of them in the same table, under three chapters:
            (1) "traditional"  basic criteria, (kannerian),
            (2) "sublimation" in top-autism,  already appearing in the middle (asperger),
            (3) personal confidences, with call to witnesses.
    "Prosopamnesians"  recognized each other by exchanging their recipes to survive. I think that this method must be extended to  autists, who do not know  themselves and do not know each other.
Another interesting point would be to add the "outside view": as an example:
"outside view on prosopamnesia":
    In a course, a "spy"  labelled me:  "extraordinary absent- mindedness".  Now "prosopamnesia" is linked with autism, since autistic children, according to Yale Univ. has this problem. But, I see a confusion between "agnosia", (not recognising a structure, like seeing people with a cauliflower or a hat), and "amnesia", (not recognising an already seen thing, or fact...) This is due to the fact that "prosopagnosians" are rare but all sent to hospital. While "prosopamnesians are not "interesting" though numerous.
    But are "prosopias",   incapacity to remember or just to engrave?
    And the basic distinction for "prosop(amnesia-agnosia)", between "accidental" and "born" arn't  doubtful and dangerous? impeding further research... A good introduction to my autistic mania for "correct definitions" and even my mania for a "definition of the definition". A definition offers dull satisfaction and stupid quiet sleep for the mind.
    My life and  work as a consultant were influenced by my labelling.
    I was afraid I could be "discovered" too soon, loosong my status like a poor teacher. The most dangerous people were the "saviours", people with solutions, (refused by the top-management), to save their firms. Logically and happily they were my first visitors, offering help for promotion; already insulted when I asked some time to analyse the problems. I was prepared to meet my opponents of next month...
2.1 Anguish at the center
    Rather than associability, (an "outside point of view"),
I put the anxiety at the center of  autisms,
    Each of us should revive his difficult moments, divorces, loss of a relative, of his work, serious hospitalization, departure for a boarding school, for the war... and thinks that the new-born baby can live his own events with the same intensity, fear of darkness,  nightmares, feeling of abandonment... (Freud, who "discovered sexuality in babies", will accept!)
    Being "problem-inside",  I think that the march to soft-autism is difficult to detect, then the linking is irreversible and final: engines can't be changed during flight! The "cures" probably come from an "overloading". Many relapses could be explained by a rehabilitation stopped too early, (idem for any remedy!) Apparently, there is one and only one, solution: "to make with", id est  pushing towards "top-autism".
2.1.1 "Sublimation of anxiety":
    The "psychologists" admit, that  anguish is essential to live, to be  creative. Too much anxiety causes the mania of putting order  which reassures, preparing  a fast defense; it ends in "perfectionism", (necessary in many professions...)  but also an indifference towards  "secondary things".
2.1.2 Confidences:
    To earn a living, I practised "jobs requiring  problem-solving". I think that my missions, my files were better prepared , my work more excavated. I was called "fouinard", (Nosey Parker")? It led me to work 24 hours, (or 30 days), to end a file to remit absolutely. In private, I am unable to leave a problem without a solution.
    The following criterion is therefore a corollary of the anxiety:
2.2. Resistance to  suffering,  disease,  hunger, fatigue
    enough surprising for the "outside people", it is rather an indifference to small worries to dedicate all strength to the "big problem" of the moment, to put order, to survive. This is often seen as "agitation", by "outside-observers".
2.2.1 " Sublimation ":
    This capacity of work, day and night, found in Newton, Darwin, ( and Edison, the champion, with 60 hours no-stop).
2.2.2 Confidences:
      I remember a surgeon, after an operation, asking to me whether somebody accompanied me, if I wanted a taxi. I answered him: "I 'll return home by bicycle... " Then, he asked  my age.
     Agitation? I do not know what it is. A child is capable of Olympic efforts. Just  find an employment for his activity. But do not lock him up  in a kitchen of two meters out of three!
    My "intellectual agitation " was judged "dispersion" by my prof of philo, who advised me: "Read only good books!" Without giving the definition! Seek it and you renovate philosophy.
"Good books are written by good philosophers, easily known by their "good books"...
    I wished to work 30 days on a problem, (a solution recomandable in a company with  problems!), then leave, (I found directors to call me  "cyclotimic" and  "autodidact", but none to understand what they could not do!)
    Today, calmed by some problems of age, I am astonished by what I did in Africa; ignoring  a 100% malaria, (and even the variant  that leads you delirious to  hospital). While building the factory,  the two  chief-masons gave up, and I added their work to mine.
    But, in such stressing conditions,  a very bad news caused an explosion, a "dry-tantrum", the need to punish  without caring about my interests. then a bad fame.  Therefore, when my children were taken from me, because being child, "I did not think of  others", I went at my/their torturers, with my legendary obstinacy and capacity of concentration, day and night.
2.4.3 "Outside View":
    My mania of  "definitions" could explain that some "psys" declare me "scientific", (though a diploma of data processing produces only "technicians").
2.3 The choice of loneliness,
rather a means of protecting one's self, against  "parasites", a need which becomes a taste, justified by the effectiveness in work, the refusal of the others to work as much as we do, their need to stop during the week-ends...
2.3.1 " Sublimation "
    It results the phenomenon of "life under a glass bell", obvious in the book of Birger, (impossible for a normal child). But see the  book of Dr. Diebold, presenting a phenomenon very related with  autism: "epilepsy like refuge". The example of American Scientific, (February 2000, the child in front of three screens), seen as a deficit can evolve to a hyper-concentration, (without this capacity, earth would not be explored yet):
2.3.2 Confidences
     All my life, I shocked with, and was pested by,  by people  wanting to make my happiness and  fortune, thinking that I could earn more... I always lived alone, (even married),  seek no more to convince doctors and "psys" that a person is quite happy  with books,  pastels sticks, computers,  museums and libraries...
2.3.3 "Outside View":
    Some psys, ("diplomocus memoris causa", with right to label and libel),  are more than dangerous. They consider  the thirst for justice and truth as signs of patanoïa. Worthy sons of Freudy and Bethel that decided to separate young autistics from their parents.  Any judgement first judges  its judge.  Let's use the trick of my "locomotives":  mentionning "diplomas"  provoked ejection of the fellow. "To do is to be". What Zenon, Newton, Einstein,... had understood.
    This time, I need to answer: all people living alone, rapidly, start turning around the bush and stop being creative. But that's the lot of all Professors of Universities, with  an easy pupils and never teaching them  how to criticize a teacher! That's the lot of all people in ghetto. Therefore the problem is: "How to continue thinking in any situations?"
    Expecting your tricks to compare them with the mine of mines.
2.4 The need for the same order
    I see it as a simple corollary of our anxiety,  reassuring because one will immediately find the object that  saves.
2.4.1 " Sublimation ":
    the intellectual needs for exactitude in the definitions, the arguments; horror of  error,  lie,  fraud.
    More difficult  for  "autism-outside-people", (who should reread the bibliographies of Newton, Edison, Einstein, Vinci...): the need for order changed into a need to set order, (and I lived it). Newton was  named Manager of the Mint not for his mathematical gifts but for his honesty, product rare at that time. It sent 22 forgers  to the gallows and attended the "liturgy"...
2.4.2 Confidences:
    I am a perfect disorder but,  as Schopenhauer furious because the maid had dusted his Buddha, I can't admit anybody setting order in my things, (I would see it as an attempt to set his own order! produing danger in case od an urgent need for an object).  In the "soft world", I pushed this mania of exactness until the definition of the definition!
    I need a frame to  work. Many people take resolutions, at least on the first of January, always the same since they do not keep them, most popular being  stop smoking. I make a new  planning regularly; and I stick to them; if not, the Sky would fall  on my head. And I change them and I justify these changes, because "solving problem makes you see new problems", and therefore I must plannify again...
    I am a frightening  debater: I easily turn  an audience over and I enjoy it. With a facility to present the same argument in two opposite, perfectly  convincing ways, thanks to my logical game,  "flip-flop" symbolized by rabbit-duck of Wittgenstein:
   "I believe in  God: no need of thomism: who seeks his key in  all his pockets? when instinctly he knows it is in the left one?"
Now be Janus:"I do not believe in  God:  no need with... "
     (I know  the limits pf "thomism" better than any theologist!)
2.4.3 "Outside View":
    I would choose our famous "inertia" and Gauss  told  of his wife dying, and answering: "Let her wait a moment..." just the time to solve an equation. We want to finish what we are doing, so important to save the world; we want to secure a point that will give us security. Disturbing us will provoke a drama. I was awfully rude with my mother requiring me for a thing of no interest for me, at that time. Maybe, the best investment in my youth, since I got the spanking of my life and definitely learnt the respect due to foremen and "martinets", (our martinet  is your cat-o-nine-tails).
    "Outside Observers" should learn from Newton  the opposite and complementary phase of "inertia-that doesn't move will not move..." We have the other side, like the atom of Einstein, bullet-wave: when we start, let nobody stay in front of us. In cases where, (I admit it now), that my interest was to give up, I choose being killed. And, "auctoritas, ultima ratio", a university diploma was no argument to calm me down.
2.5 The need to learn, (and to solve!)
(mentionned by Donna Williams and Temple Grandin, and...), is the mania of squirrels that accumulate by nature. We want to push back the unknown and to prepare with any eventuality. We collect and file knowledge, the techniques, the languages; as others collect the stamps or make crosswords.  This "remedy" is effective: to have  ready answers  reassure. Therefore we don't differ from "normals" but we have made our answers; and we(ll improve them with the next trial.
    I therefore hate all the games, (waste of time, no possible progress, frozen exercices...), but I need to know their rules.
2.5.1 "Sublimation"?
    The preceding assertions make  possible to connect on a characteristic  easy to see in  "geniuses", (not obvious at first sight):
    Newton, Darwin, Einstein,  gave solutions in the most different fields. Though they were limited to some juicy fields and not prepared outside their domains.. With accusation of never  finishing anything, (Vinci was so accused by Michel-Angelo): I explain it by the fact that "finishing for  others" does not interest us:  like quitting World-Two, (still full of mysteries), for World-Three, (to lose time in palavers).  After living in World-Two, we enjoy it and flee the "disputationes"of World-Three... We prefer to start  on one of the bigger problems that any solution reveals.
2.5.2 Confidences:
     I'm attracted by  mysteries, symbolized by the compass of Albert,  while any  "normal" child breaks the object to look inside.
    In the enterprises, I jumped on the "doc" of any odd machines, sometimes prohibited of visit, (later a mechanic engineer  lead me to it. I was fascinated by the "tricks of hands" of certain workers. As soon as IBM started the mass-production of computer, I  pushed myself, (in World Trade!) in position of observer.
    Therefore "need to learn" is incorrect. We obey  the will of a Nature pushing us to collect  ready answers. I thus prefer, "accumulating ready-answers" Thus our  need for order and the need to learn, comes from the same source: anxiety. I filed Portuguese,  Ki-swahili, the oil technique, a stay in the copper mines, seven Basics, two Assemblers and C... and half of the National Library. But  finally, you  need to solve all the encountered problems. Thus, I list problems to be solved, which I sometimes solve by the dozen.  Finally, my sublimation of "problems-solving" concretized itself in a course of creativity, (which filled assistants with enthusiasm but nobody could apply), combining the extremes, the finest analysis and the most total synthesis. I was  fascinated by the dust of Fleming and the glow of Branly, (quantity of such exemples  under your eyes, that could change the world...) but I'm gifted for at global syntheses like the reduction of all the documents to one line in the computer.
    The bouquet is perhaps to have reduced all my creative methods to a slogan, "BREAK!", while my challenger in this field, Spencer de Bono, uttered only: "POH!"
2.5.3 "Outside View":
 One day, a director told  me:
    "Why this mania of yours to start with the most difficult problem!"
    "Because then, all  others problems will have disappeared... "
    A manner of ending with TWELVE problems at the same time... On the contrary, you find yourself with THIRTEEN problems.
2.6 Strange echolalia:
    Phenomenon normal in the evolution of any child but that must disappear... The child discovers the power of  words and plays with their sonorities.
2.6.1 "Sublimation":
    Have you notice the place autistic children grant to  tales. The story of LINWOOD starts with a child  asking for a tale, just an echolalia of higher level. All children adore tales; and  foreign language teaching is facilitated.
2.6.2 Confidences:
    I spent my  life, inventing stories, by changing the least event into marvellous. Even the difficult moments of my life of Manager were solved by a tale, a means to locate my allies, to make people laugh, and reverse the  opinions.
2.7 The auto-destructive tendency
    Wittgenstein had five  brothers, three were successful in suicide, the fourth only lost an arm, (Ravel wrote to him the "concerto for the left hand"). Ludwig was satisfied with a "financial suicide" that Freud would explain like "a revolt against the father". He did it lucidly, giving the dough to his sisters rather than to the poor: "They had so much that a billion more...", (one of them offered her  Goyas to her maid, "obsolete, my dear!").
2.7.1 "Sublimation":
      I understand that, regularly, Ludwig felt the need to disappear, for a "Trobriand period", as a primary teacher in  lost villages, or as a gardener of convent; returning each time so enriched that one should impose this method on all "diplomocus memoris causa".
2.7.2 Confidences

3.2 Extension of the Table of Mendeleiev:
It is impossible to create and to see one's self creating. Or simply to understand one's progress. What mind-improvement did I get by practising "morphodimensionnelle", (and  even introducing it into the building industry). But I am surprised that the complex of the Benjamin was not studied parallaly to autism. Or was it so penetrated by the religious language of the time? "sinner", "confession", "hell", "Christian values", "divine will", (today, the deceptive ideas could be"intelligence", "psychosomatic", "cognotivism "..., which preserve and prolong the errors that they pretend to eliminate).

    Any definition of  autism must distinguish the origin, "hard" or "soft", "physical" or "psychical". It is not easy because these two worlds react continuously on each other.
